Position Purpose:
The provision of labour as directed by using supervisor in order to make certain a protected and easy working surroundings or optimized cargo operation.
Position outputs:
- Wash tools at wash bay in compliance with fitness and safety.
- Assist drivers in fill up diesel on equipment.
- Cleaning operational areas.
- Complete relevant archives i.e. accident and incident reports.
- Cleaning wash bay.
- Identify gear to be washed after completion of parcels and exchange of parcels.
- Liaise with gear controller for gear to be washed.
- Assist drivers in water tanker for watering the plant, avenue and quaside.
Qualifications & Experience:
Matric with minimal of two years as a port worker/general worker
