REQUIREMENTS : NQF Level four or 5 (Grade 12 certificates or equivalent) Minimum of 1-year
experience. Must be laptop literacy. Knowledge of Department of Higher
Education mandate (TVET, CET and Skill Development). Knowledge of DHET
policies and commercial enterprise units. Knowledge of applicable legislation, prescripts,
policies and procedures.

Job Description:

As a receptionist, your duties will include receiving telephone calls and messages and directing them to the appropriate personnel. You will also welcome customers and direct them to the relevant units, providing them with any necessary information. You will be responsible for operating workplace equipment such as fax machines and photocopiers, as well as liaising with internal and external personnel. Additionally, you will maintain a telephone directory and manage the traffic register at the reception area.
