The Department of Defence is seeking a Provision Administration Clerk to join the team at the Military Academy Saldanha. This position offers a salary of R181 599 per annum (Level 05) and is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 (NQF L4)
or equivalent and must be computer literate (Ms Word, Excel and Power Point). The successful candidate will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and display a sense of responsibility. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) would be an added advantage.

The duties of the Provision Administration Clerk
include calculating personnel and quantity of rations to be procured, preparing ration of petty cash purchases, reconciliation of cash purchases, record keeping and database compilation of ration purchased.
